"Red poker club" by Somobi is one of the countless Texas Hold'em based poker games in the android market. Red Poker Club is a free online multi-player Texas holdem game that offers users the ability to go heads up in small stakes tables or go all-in with the big dogs in the high rollers room with bets ranging from 5 to over 2,000,000 a hand.
Start up is simple create an account, choose your avatar, and jump in with your starting bank of 5000 chips with an extra 1000 chips added daily (you also have the ability to buy "Somobi credits" the games currency if you feel like some instant monetary gratification.)
The tables are laid out cleanly, cards are easy to read when there flopped, the chip count can be a little difficult to read but the game log that updates automatically tends to help remind you of the current game play changes.
As for the UI its simple and easy to work with my only problems being when it was my time to raise the on screen scroll bar moved to quickly making me bet all or nothing or a strange number in between (a keyboard equipped phone would alleviate this problem.)
My biggest problem seemed to arrise in lag I would at least a couple times per game find myself watching my opponents play timer tick down to zero only to find out I had lagged out and I was the one holding up the game sometimes losing quite a chip investment when I shouldnt have. This is a problem I have found in most online turn based games though and can only appreciate Somboi's attempt to expedite the game process by kicking the player even if it is me getting kicked occasionally.
All in all the game is clean, simple and a good way to train your poker skills when you don't feel like sitting down and investing in a serious game of cards.

Pros:
-Clean UI
-Quick gameplay
-Ability to join "buddies" tables
-Completely free
-Not hard on the device

Cons:
-Not many players sometimes hard to find big stakes games
-Occasional lag can interfere with gameplay
-Cant stand up from a table without losing your seat completely

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5
