I had been rooted my celkon a98 and by using clockwork mod I have installed some of the cyanogenmod 10.2 in my phone, but I does not showing that os has updated. And also showing that settings had stopped working. Plz help me regarding this.

I think we'll probably need more information to be able to solve this. For example, what do you mean by installing "some of" CyanogenMod 10.2? You either install a ROM or you do not. And has anything changed other than the settings stopping working?

Please post again and describe in detail exactly what you did, and what happened, and hopefully we'll be able to sort it out. You can do this using the same form (since you won't be able to reply to this post), or by registering with the forum (which will allow more effective discussion if needed).

Two things I can suggest in the meanwhile:

* If you took a backup using clockworkmod before attempting to install the ROM, restoring that will put the phone back the way it was before. If you didn't, it's a good idea to do so in future before changing ROMs.

* When installing a different ROM, the new ROM will usually be incompatible with the previous ROM's settings and system data. For this reason you should do a factory reset from clockworkmod before installing the new ROM (which means you should back up all important data before doing the install!). If you have actually installed the ROM but did not do a reset first, this might be why your settings app now crashes. In that case a factory reset now would fix it, if that is actually the problem.

Good luck!
