Regular 4G LTE Sim Card to Micro Sim?

hey fellas i have a few lines with verizon(thunderbolt, rezound and now a nexus) and i realized that all of the newer 4G phones use Micro Sims. I added a line for the Nexus and i want to be able to switch the phones and lines around whenever. i know i need micro sim adapters to do so for the htc's and i have those already...
since i have the older(larger 4G LTE Sim) i was wondering:
1)where can i get micro sims for the rezound and thunderbolt without having to go in to a retail store? i hate retail stores always busy and takes forever and 2)if i did in fact get the micro sims, do i have to go into a verizon store to activate it or can i call up vzw or better yet can i swap sims through myverizon.com? thanks a lot...

That's exactly what I'm going to do when I update next week. Use to do it all the time online now with Sims its a little trickier. Need more info..

Once an LTE SIM is deactivated you can't reactivate it and have to get a replacement. I don't think you can get SIMs for LTE anywhere but VZW but you can get the adapter and if you want to use the phone that takes the larger SIM just pop the SIM out of the Nexus, put it in the adapter and pop that in the other phone. I believe this one works fine Amazon.com: AFC Trident Micro SIM Card Adapter for Apple iPad and iPhone 4: Cell Phones & Accessories

You can also get a press that allows you to make new ones as you need. Amazon.com: SIM Card Cutter w/ 4 Micro SIM Adapters for Apple iPhone 4 / iPad: Cell Phones & Accessories

I may have misunderstood the question. I think you would have to go to VZW to get the 4G microsims and have them activate them on your line you would likely need to have the converters as well.

thanks for the replies i do have the sim card puncher and the micro sim adapters, i just wanted to know where i can get the micro sim...i mean i know its vzw but can i get one over the phone or over the internet from them? also once i do get the micro sims how do i replace my regular size sims to the micro sims? do i have to go into a store or can i do it from my verizon.com or over the phone? thanks

ps the only reason i still want the authentic micro sims is because after using the puncher i was not happy with the quality very jagged edges and i don't want a piece getting stuck in there it would just be easier to get the real deal micro sims and then use the adapters for the rezound and thunderbolt. thanks...

Given what you are trying to do you may be able to deal with the over the phone but you may still need to take it to the store once you receive the cards.

yeah, i figured...i just wanted to find out if anyone on here and any experience with it. thanks anyway...

Just call *611 from any other Verizon phone and tell them you need to activate a 4G SIM card. They can do it over the phone just as easily as in person at a store. And you can order them over the phone as well. Just be careful with the micro to full adapter on some phones could get stuck and break. Might be easier just to have some extras of both on hand and just have them activate it. Not as quick as a SIM swap but still.

Thanks have you done this? or are you just guessing that they do? thanks again...

Go under activate switch device, then it asks for the device I'd. Type in the IMEI of the phone you'll be putting the sim card in, if it requires the change from regular to micro or the other way it'll tell you and give you the option to input the new sim id.

ok but i have a rezound and a regular sim on my main line. i just added a line for the nexus with a micro sim, i won't be able to switch because my rezound has a regular sim and the nexus needs the micro right?

Just got a mini Sim adapter from amazon only $1.65 free shipping took a week, but at a free ship, its a good buy.
