Hi guys, I have to delete all received data daily to ensure there's enough space on my internal memory for my phone to function. (Xperia E3 won't allow me to transfer data to SD card for reasons beyond me.).
Last night I deleted the whatsapp app, and a few hours later I deleted the phone's cache, as I do daily. I subsequently noticed all received photos have been deleted. Note, photos I've taken with the camera are intact, but all photos and videos received since I purchased the phone back in December have vanished. I've checked the trash in google+ and they're not there. I've tried a few 'data recovery' apps available via Play Store, but none have helped.
Any suggestions, guys? Maybe root (and risk invalidating warranty) and try something like Dr Fone?
