Did you try it while running in Safe Mode? If the problem disappears it is caused by an app that you added.
FWIW ... None is what I use on Droid X, Maxx, Turbo, and Turbo 2 without a problem.

Given this issue and your missing menu floater, I'd seriously consider reflashing the factory firmware.
(G925A)No. Flashing the latest stock firmware available. You have the AT&T S6? (G920A) I think the latest is actually 6.01.
Do you have any sort of secured account registered, like work email, or access to important documents?
A factory reset is not the same as reflashing the firmware, especially if your device has been through a few version updates. Reflashing the stock firmware also takes care of any system files that may have become corrupt or didn't update correctly.
To be fair, My Nexus 6 doesn't say anything under 'none' either. I think that's just an HTC thing.
@sleedeane I don't think Marshmallow is broken in that respect, but I think that *your* installation is. And the only way to fix a broken installation is to reflash the factory firmware. My wife just picked up an S6 Edge a few weeks ago and likes it very much with Marshmallow.
Sure, you can do it with one hand tied behind your back.
