Remove app and reinstall

Samsung Galaxy Proclaim. Trying to remove YouTube app because it will not work, Then to re install the app. Has not worked since last update.
 
Hello and welcome to AndroidForums.com. I would try clearing the data and cache for the YouTube app. Go to App Management in your Settings menu and find YouTube. When you select it, you have the option of clearing data and/or cache.
