Remove battery percentage and battery icon

Does anyone know how to remove the battery percentage and the battery icon from the status bar. I downloaded the energy ring app and just want to use that as my battery status over the other two on my bar.

In stock android 9 the battery percentage is in the battery settings and there's no toggle for the icon. Don't know about Samsung as they rearrange most things.

On your home screens you can use a launcher like Nova which lets you hide or toggle the notification bar. But that won't remove them when using other apps.

Download Good Lock from Galaxy Store. It has several add-ons. You can install all or pick and choose. Gives you some customization. You want the QuickStar add-on. Once installed go to Visibility of Indicator Icons. There are different options there, one of them the battery icon that you can toggle off. It creates a little blank space but that was fine with me. Hated that dopey battery icon. Was thinking of using the energy ring myself! ☺️

download GoodLock from the Galaxy Store, under GoodLock go to Quick-Panel Star. From there you can go to 'Visibility of Indicator Icons'. You can choose to turn off every type of indicator that will show up in the notification bar.
