Help Remove duplicate device from Google account

I searched & found old threads, I'm just wondering if there's any new info. that would let me delete duplicate devices from my account. I used to use a Pixel 2, then bought a 3a. Then I had to have the 3a replaced, so I switched back to the 2 for a bit. Then I switched to the new 3a, and had some issues with Android Auto (still unresolved), so I switched back & forth between both phones again & even reset the new 3a.

So - now when I look in my account Location History, it shows this under "Devices on this account":
Pixel 3a (this device)
Pixel 3a
Pixel 2
Pixel 3a
Pixel 3a
Pixel 2

That's kind of a lot of entries for just having 2 phones

Anybody have any ideas? I did go into my account settings in the Play store & only have the current 3a active for apps, but it would be less confusing overall not to have all these phantom phones showing up under my Location History.

By chance did you solve this? I have the same issue with two pixel's where I have reinstalled the OS many times over the past month on each & logged into Google. One would think Google would be smarter than this and know this was not the same device.

On a browser go to your google account | security | your devices | manage devices and I believe signing out of the duplicate devices will remove it from your account.

Btw, I have two new Google Pixel (1st gen) phones. They are both the same except one is 32G while the other is 128G. No SIM card is in either one currently, but using WIFI to download apps. I have tested each phone with my working SIM in it to ensure it can text & place calls.

Once I get one of these phones working the way I want with Lineage 15 & GAPPS I will move my working SIM from my Nexus 6 to most likely the 128G Pixel.

I have logged in & out of google many times with each phone due to having to flash them many times to work out the bugs.

No matter which phone I log into google with it tells me the apps I want are already installed. Neither phone has any of the apps I want installed.

I haven't been back here to follow up for a while, I was never able to find any solution to this other than just waiting & eventually the old devices drop off. It's super annoying that you can't remove old devices yourself, especially with all the uninstall/reinstall issues I had. But now I do only have one device showing up under Location History so it's "solved" - just not a good solution.
