f I get a Maxx with the ICS leak on it, and want to go back to stock, how is that done?
Supposedly, it has not been rooted.

I saw an article yesterday that said it has now been rooted over at xda. You may want to head over there and take a look.

i'm a little confused on this one (lol...what else is new!)....

this phone does, or does not have to be rooted to install the ICS leak?

You have to be rooted to install the leak. Any of the builds prior to .207 I believe are able to fast boot back to .181 so you can get the official ICS release when its out. I don't recommend any of this to the average user though. You need to know your way around the OS and have experience with rooting and flashing ROMs unless you want to get stuck.

I thought .75 .79 were the only fastbootable leaks?
