Remove "Silent Notifications" from the Notification Bar

Updated to Android 10 on a Pixel 3aXL.
When I swipe down from the Notification Bar,
there is a line that says:

"Silent notifications . . . . . . . . . . . . . . x"

Can I remove this bar?
Because when you accidentally touch it, it clears all my notifications.

You just solve it.

That has to be annoying! :o

You're way ahead of me--I'm still on Oreo 8.0.0--so we don't have all the same features/settings. I've never seen what you have, but I wonder if it's a 'do not disturb'-related setting. You might want to check that in System Settings.

Also, if you can long-press on it without triggering its clearing all your notifications, see if there's a settings option there to control it.

Possibly not even a long press- usually just a slight tap/swipe/hold movement to the right brings up the pinwheel for me.

Right. In general, that's what I'd suggest, but the OP's comment swayed me: "...when you accidentally touch it, it clears..." Given that, I don't know that ANY touch will help! :o

Well these are a little bit of an oddity as there is no settings page within the notification area on my phone and I've no idea how the phone decides which app it silences.

However there are 2 ways to find the settings for silent notifications. One, as suggested above long press on one of the apps in the silent area and you will get an option to switch it out of the silent area. The other way to access these settings is to go into the apps area of the settings page and selecting each and every app and telling it not to silence the app via Notifications, Notifications within the apps settings.

I can find no way to actually turn this feature off tho.
