Removed Pull Tab: Did I Hurt The Phone???

I removed the pull tab sticker off the back of my Droid X. Does this in ANY way hurt the phone????

I read that they will replace the phone under warranty.... I still have the pull tab and put it back in, is it worth risking getting a refurbished phone???

What phone model? Where was the pull tab?

I remember reading somewhere about a new model (maybe Droid X or Droid 2?) that has a pull tab to assist in removing the battery. Is this what you're referring to?

yeah I am referring to the Droid X where there is a pull tab for removing the battery (but fails to say "do not remove"). it was very poor labeling

It is actually something that is covered under warranty due to the label being misleading on the tab. If you go to the Droid X forum there is a specific story stickied addressing the pull tab and an experience someone had with VZW replacing the phone under warranty because it has been a widespread problem.
