I could return them under the thirty day gar., but don't have much faith in Sprint to be fair.

What? Take them back to Best Buy. They will take care of you and cancel out everything for you. You won't even have to pay for any of the usage you acrued under the nine days you had the phones. There is no reason for you to believe otherwise...
