Apps removing app from applicatiosn list

I've created a GPS app for my teenage daughter that basically sends me the GPS coordinates of where she is and puts her on the Google map. I've been able to hide the fact that the app exists on her phone, except where the app is still listed on the managing applications list (the 3rd party app list). Is there anyway to keep my app of that list and not have it show up??

Thanks

Hm.

Yes, most 3rd-party home screen apps (such as PandaHome) allow you to configure hidden apps, for instance if you prefer Handcent SMS and have no need to see the Messaging app. The stock Android home screen app does not support this. Maybe you could disguise it as a widget instead of a launchable app. But you'd (she'd) still be able to see that hidden-app listing, and file managers and apps such as aTrackDog would still show your hidden app).

It's certainly your call, but I must say, it rubs me the wrong way to see you want to hide this behaviour, that you've basically got your daughter under surveillance. Why not have a good talk with her, so she knows that and why it's there? From an end-user perspective (ie. your daughter), it's malware. :( But as I said, it's your call.
