Help Removing Apps

How can I remove an app or the machine? ASUS memo pad 7.

Chrome has an infection and is not usable. I can remove it from the main screen but it stays in the general list.

I thought if I could remove it and reinstall, I would start fresh.

If I plug into the computer , how can I see the apps?

Any tips.??

Are you sure chrome has never been updated? That is rather unlikely.
Go to Apps Manager -> Downloaded and uninstall the chrome update.
It should then update again.

It is likely that your problem is not Chrome, but some other malware.
If you cannot find it and remove it, or if the malware has rooted your phone and installed itself as a system app,
you will need root access to remove it or re-flash the stock ROM.
