Removing IHO from my phone

My friend flashed my virgin mobile optimus v with backside oho. I bought a new phone today, so I need to restore this phone to factory settings so that I can transfer my account to my new phone and give this one to my girlfriend. I have no clue what to do. Someone please help me.

I see a post that explains how to restore my phone, but it's all Greek to me. Is there any way that someone could just call me and talk me through the whole process or direct me to a video that will fully explain it? I would be most grateful.
 
Let me add my welcome to that you've already got! :)

The best place to ask for help and advice relating to your phone would be in the sub-forum that olbriar linked you to. Other users of the same device are the best source of info and I am not sure how many of our members hang out in the intros section.

Hopefully you will get the info you need... that sub-forum has quite a bit of traffic :) If, after a couple of days, you don't feel that you are getting the answers you want, feel free to hit one of us guides up and we will try sort something out for you.
