I installed Handcent and I'm loving it, but even though I've set it as default and told the stock to not auto retrieve, I'm still getting a message under the time on my lock screen that says "X messages" X being the number of messages. I've already seen these messages in Handcent and I've got all of the notifications turned off in the stock app. I'm running 2.2.1 on the LG Ally.
