Help Renaming Song Files

Hello, people. A little introduction here.

I just upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Note4 to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and with both of these phones, I've had the Zedge app for ringtones, notification tones and wallpapers. I have no issues with the wallpapers, but it's the other two I have issues with.

Normally, I download the song I want to use, then move it to my internal storage and rename it there. But, what I seem to have issues with is that the names do not match. For example, my main ringtone has been The Instinct (It's the main theme from Killer Instinct... I'm a big gaming fan). I rename it when I put it in my files, but the name is still the name of what it was on Zedge (which is 'Killer Instinct 2013'). It's also the same for certain notification tones as well. What exactly am I doing wrong here and can you guys help me?

The phone is most likely reading the id3 tags. Look for an id3 tag editor.

Thanks, chanchan. That did work... is there any id3 tag editor you would recommend? I've tried a few and while they did well in renaming tags, I would like to find something that go a step further and help with reordering the songs (I like things in a certain order and all)

Any file explorer will let you rename the mp3s.

I'm an old WinAmp user. It will let you edit the metadata file.
