Yesterday I replaced my screen. I have done this on several devices so I more or less know what I am doing.
I was not aware of any problem while I was fixing the screen and everything else works fine but I now have a problem with the bottom speaker. The sound is so distorted as to be useless. Oddly, my phone now makes a crackly squawking noise e.g. when swapping apps when it previously didn't make any noise at all.
I have taken the phone apart again and everything looks fine. There is no obvious damage to anything and everything appears to be exactly as it should according to the 3 different teardown videos.
The headphones still work perfectly well.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I may have done wrong?
