Help Replace stock recovery with twrp using Linux desktop?

Newbie
When I Plug my Samsung J2 into my computer running Linux 19, I can see and access all the files in my phone.

Couldn't I simply replace the stock recovery with TWRP using Linux Mint's file manager?

To do it from linux you need ADB installed on linux and a phone with an unlocked bootloader and twrp made for it. You'd be doing this from the terminal and not from the file manager.

Also I keep Jodin on my github which is odin for linux. You can use this to flash twrp for your device on linux. I prefer the terminal.

Okay. I'll have to work up to that. For right now, though, my phone has the missing OEM Bootloader Unlock problem in developer options. So I'll have to fix that first, and then get back with you.

Thanks
