I unmounted 16g card, mounted 32g, I have no experience whatsoever with this and believe I screwed up big time ;lost items, apps don't all work, and says sd card memory full, HELP PLEASE. Embarrassing

Did you transfer all your data from the 16gig card to the 32gig card before installing?
What device do you have? Perhaps a reformat of your new card is in order.
Try formatting it with this program:
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
Then transfer items from old card to new card and reinstall in device
