Help Replaced LCD Screen

So I bought a new LCD/Digitizer assembly & installed it fine. Touch screen works but upon first boot the softkeys weren't working (lighting up). Did a reset & now the softkeys light up but are non responsive. What could be the cause of this? Faulty LCD/digitizer, software or logic board problem?

So what happened with this? did you figure it out? I cracked my screen and may have to perform this surgery myself.
