Replacement battery for MotoDroid

Hey all. Although not a problem now, I use my Moto Droid extensively during the day and I can see a *slight* decrease in battery life (I've had it for approximately 6 months now). If my past experiences with heavy battery usage continue into this phone, then I expect to have a very tired battery in about 8 months.

Seeing how quickly android-based phones are phased out and lose their "king of the hill" status, I would like to be able to buy a replacement before it becomes difficult to find.

SO, my question is where is it possible to purchase authentic Moto Droid batteries (preferably for less than 45 dollars a piece if at all possible).

Thanks in advance!

Ummm, ebay.

You can get the OEM batteries, but honestly, the cheap $5 batteries from Hong Kong will do just as good. They might not last 3 years or charging, but they will easily last a year or two, and save you 50 bucks.
