Help Replacement? will verizon give me another devour?

I have been having a lot of issues with my devour, some people have been saying that verizon will replace it with a different phone, is this true? i would hate to bring back my POS devour to only get another one in return.
 
I called Verizon yesterday for a replacement (my phone is restarting nonstop) and the representative I spoke with said I'd be sent a Droid 2. After 10 minutes of checking warehouses she says that she can't find one with a battery cover so she is sending me a Devour again.
 
I got the Droid 2, and a extended 1830Mamp battery :)

But yes my devour got corrupt when I tried installing a program and it decided to reboot at the same time. I got it to work for a little bit, by the way of hard resetting, then I messed up and hard reset it again and it never came back on past the white M and blur flashing.

Did you have to hassle them or did they just give you the droid 2 no questions asked? Reason I'm wondering is cause I have the devour. Love the looks of the phone but functionality sucks..
