[REQ]an app the mocks screen taps??

First would this be even viable, meaning an app that can be programmed to mock a screen tab in a certain location just as if you were actually touching the screen.

Possible benefits.... remote control for apps that do not have a programmable or select-able input option. Games would be a great possibility. Being able to use a keyboard with keys linked to screen tap locations. Also for watching movies with a phone connected to a TV. No need to get up when a bluetooth keyboard can control the phone, or a bluetooth remote.

Remember this is just an idea and am wondering if it is even possible.
