Hi,

Atm we do not have any recoveries or unlocked bootloader for this phone. GameTheory might be able to lokify the kernel for us if someone is able to provide him the aboot from the phone.

Looks like lte2recovery.apk works for our phone also. Instructions are here: http://androidforums.com/spirit-4g-...2971-2nd-init-recovery-985hpakick-spirit.html

I successfully did a CWM backup on my LG Mach.

Yah but it stores the stuff to the internal "SD card" so it's no use u can't access the external card

Hitting the Home Softbutton in the CWM Recovery main menu toggles between internal and external sd. Trying to toggle from other menus returns you to the main. Successfully performed this on my Mach (Thanks, y'all, if I haven't hit the button yet...)
and backed it up straight to the (actual) external sd.

ok i know its been forever and i didnt reply it did work but im wondering now is there a button combo you press to boot into recovery? or do you have to go through the app?

i was looking for other cwm options and i came across this "here" and our device isnt listed but in that forum the guy said there were some successful installation on "unlisted" devices with a older version of cwm do u think it would work with the mach since we used the optimus lte 2 cwm recovery?

if we can get a actual cwm on this phone i mean one you can boot into from the button combo then i think it would make it easier on some other things like im on boost and i can back up my phone then factory reset it to create a boost "unbrick file"? if thats what its called because i know your on sprint bads3ctor and then start working on other tweeks :/ i feel like thats the only thing holding me back atm

The dev of Onandroid Backup (believe its called, on my phone & short on time at the moment... apologies) and I have been in communication & that excellent app now supports the LG Mach - just refresh patches from menu & select LG Mach, easy! Appears to be complete & accurate partition dump/cwm backup... Any/all of the output assist in unlocking this infernal bootloader or towards installing TRUE custom recoveries?!?

Any usefulness at ALL...? :-/
