Root [Req] Rom porting

i tried porting that rom,ended up in a bootloop
i guess spice has mtk chipset, and a87 has qualcom chipset.....
so we need to find a device with same specification to port a rom from it,....

That was exactly my point..

A75 is a mtk chipset...

As far as my knowledge goes, there is no working CWM for A57.

I have posted the recovery in that thread as well but no one has checked it and responded.. :(

Let us know if anybody finds a ROM for a device which is similar to ours..

things that should match
dualsim support
qualcom processor(pls no mtk chipset,as it will not work for sure)
adreno gpu

guys we need help,if u find any pls post here

How about HISENSE U8?
it has a MIUI rom option. Dual sim and Qualcomm
but mind the language though. it comes in chinese variants too.
 
hey there every one, i have brought micromax a87 last month, although it has good specification but i lacks ram, can u guys plz upload or refer any ROM that can be installed on the device, and iam a newbie and dont know much so can u plz list all the required things and steps that i need to do.
I have rooted my device and removed pre installed apps, bt still i dont know anything about CWM or FLASHING and all, so can u make a detailed thread for ppl like me.......

There is one working rom
The dark angel V1.
It has been working fine for 2 days, i will keep you ppl posted if i get any errors.
 
A15 ROM is to Work
But I aint able to overcome the RAM issue
If someone finds how to unlock the RAM (If / and there is some locked out RAM by manufacturers)

Our phone has 256mb of ram, but we are able to use only 160 because the rest of it goes to video chip for rendering.
