Request: Data Enable/Disable Widget

Hi All,

My first post so go easy on me! In Froyo there is a new option under Setings -> Wireless & Network Settings -> Mobile Networks called Data enabled/disabled.

Is there any chance somebody could make a widget that could toggle that option?

There is a toggle on my 2.1 Desire that was built in by default, has this now been removed?

To my knowledge, that widget is built into Sense rather than Android. I'm using stock Android on a Nexus One.

Does anyone has any idea on this? Currently I hv made a 3G shortcut using BetterCut on to my home screen. Really hope there will be a toggle widget instead!

Interestingly I don't see a lot of request of this, how does everyone else enable/disable the mobile data? The old APN way?

Do you not get an option to turn off data when you hold down the power button?

No I don't, holding down the power button gives me 3 options:

Silent mode
Airplane mode
Power off

I m using a nonroot nexus one with froyo update btw. Thanks!

Same here, non-root nexus with both froyo updates.
