Lots of apps permit downloading files from your PC to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, but I have yet to find one that permits you to _initiate_ the download from the smartphone. All so far require me to be sitting at the PC.
I keep lots of ebook files on my PC with its much greater storage, but reading them with Splashtop2, for example, does not reformat them to fit the smartphone screen. I need to download the ebook files to the smartphone first, where the smartphone apps can handle formatting.
Can anyone recommend a Wi-Fi file transfer app that lets me start the transaction from the smartphone instead of the PC? (I'd love to sit on the porch and call up a new ebook.)
Thanks for your attention.
