Researchers use Google's machine learning technology to try and protect endangered sea cows

Machine learning can be used in a number of different ways, and today some Queensland University researchers have announced they want to use it to protect endangered sea cows. Google's open source TensorFlow technology is being used to create a detector that spots sea cows in ocean images.
