RESET OS but how to keep data ?

I 've been using SS Note 1 for 2 years
It's very slow and error often occurs (when setup a new app)
I want to factory reset but I want to keep user data too: SMS, game data (purchased items, progress...)
Could anyone tell me how to do it safety

Hu skidrow406. Welcome to Android Forums. Backing up data is a hassle unless your device is rooted. I'm sure you will be happy with the results of a factory reset though.
It will bring new life back to your device. I would move this thread into your device specific area but I'm not certain if you are hosting the Note 2 or Note 3. If you will let us know what device you are using, we can move your thread into an area where it will receive better attention.
