reset time and date

I have recently bought MICROMAX CANVAS JUICE A77 and the date and time got set wrongly. I want to correct it. I am unable to figure out how to do it and the manual also does not say how. request advice on resetting the date and time.

Android devices generally have a Settings > Date and Time (or maybe Time and Date - mine's currently doing a nandroid backup so I can't check), so just go there and set it.

If you've got it set to take the time automatically from the network and it is still wrong then disable that and try.

Hi there, mirle992, and welcome to Android Forums.

In addition to Hadron's excellent advice, let me throw this out there. It sounds like you haven't had the device for very long, so how about doing a factory reset and starting over? Obviously, you're going to lose anything you've added to it, but if it's still quite new you may not have a lot of added stuff on it yet, so starting over wouldn't be a drastic step.
