So here's the story. I've rooted my Samsung Galaxy Core Duos GT-I8262 running Android 4.1.2 a month back with Framaroot. I didn't touch anything from the system file. Just now I decided to unroot the phone. When I clicked unroot in Framaroot with Gandalf exploit, it says unroot successful. But when I check with root checker, it says that my phone is rooted. I factory reset my phone to clean the phone from root. As I entered the phone and going through the configuration, I have trouble signing in my Gmail. "Cannot establish a reliable connection to the server". Is there anyway for me to completely reset my phone like when I get it out of the box? Thanks. Please reply ASAP

I don't know Samsungs, but what you need is to reflash it with a complete set of stock software, so that the /system partition (where the ROM lives) is completely reloaded. I believe that you need to use a program called "Odin" to do this, and of course find a stock software file to flash, but that's all I know as I've never owned a Samsung. Hopefully someone will be able to give more help. I tried to find a forum for your device here but the closest I can find is http://androidforums.com/forums/samsung-galaxy-core-lte.2614/, which is a very inactive place.

Note that rooting a phone modifies the system software, and a "factory reset" only erases user-installed apps, data and settings. Thus a factory reset won't do anything to your root status, since that is a change to the /system partition which is not affected by a factory reset.
