Help Resetting without restoring to a previous account

How do I reset without restoring to a previous account. I'm having issues setting the date and time. I get unable to access data when I attempt to set to the correct date. Every time I factory reset, it ask me to sign in with the account previously on the device. The same issue occurs with the date and time. Is there anyway around this? Or is there anyway to get the date and fixed. I'm unable to download apps and some apps stop working. It's a NuVision 10" HD Android 16GB QuadCore Tablet.

To remove your email/account even after resetting:
1. Remove any PIN or swipe pattern for the lock screen
2. Go into Settings - Accounts and remove your account (and any others)
3. Then factory reset the device.

After that it shouldn't ask for your email with Factory Reset Protection.
