Hi everyone, recently got a G pad and am having problems mainly with the Youtube app, it won't play any video. The app opens properly, thumbnails and descriptions are there, but video never works. Sometimes a "network error" message is displayed, sometimes not.
So far I've tried clearing the app data, clearing the app cache, and deleting then redownloading the app updates. Also tried restarting the tablet and syncing the Google account.
Don't think it's an account problem because I can play Youtube video in the Chrome browser while signed in to the same account. Also the Youtube app on my phone works with the same account.
Only other place I get that network error message is in the Play store. However with that tapping on the retry button works, the store does eventually open and work properly.
All other apps including other video apps work normally.
Any ideas short of a factory reset or returning the tablet? I'm using the stock 4.4.2 ROM, unrooted.
