Help restore SMS

So how do you restore your Txt messages? This did not happen doing the nfc transfer or account sync. So I went back into my Txt on my hox and backed them up and sent them to myself, but the n6 has no restore option that I could find.

Any clues?

How did you back it up? Did you use an app from GPS? If so, does that app have a restore option in it?

I'm thinking that you may need to install the app on the N6 and restore through the app.

Through the default message app, but I exported to CSV and the n6 seems to have no way to restore the messages.

Oh, are there emotions on the n6 keyboard, I've not found any?

Yes, tap and hold the enter key, and the emoji selection will pop up.

You may want to try an SMS backup app to pull them off of your old phone and import them to the new.

Thanks Dave, that's a impressive array of emotes! So far I love the keyboard, the layout is much better than HTCs default. (Yep, paranoid about 3rd party keyloggers lol) I love the fact I don't have to go through 3 screens to find the £ sign.

SMS all imported, used MyBackup Pro in the end, quite painless too.
