Here is a quick guide on how to use Flashfire by Chainfire to restore your Avant to stock.
*First make a backup in recovery
*Download and install Flashfire from here:
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/chainf...-release/flashfire-0-50-android-apk-download/
*Copy the apk to a secure location (ext sd will do fine) for later use.
*Open Flashfire and grant root.
*On "Actions" tab, tap the plus (+) sign in the bottom right corner.
*Tap "Flash Firmware Package".
*Select your Firmware Package (tar.md5 file from sammobile or wherever you get it from... Not a zip).
*Select to restore "Boot, System, Cache, Trustzone, and DBI/SBI partitions (and recovery if you want stock everything) and press the checkmark on the top right of the screen.
*Select "Yes" when prompted about protected partitions.
*Make sure "EverRoot" is enabled (you can unroot later if needed).
*Tap "Flash" at the bottom of the screen and let it do it's thing.
*Phone will reboot.
If wifi/data isn't working after boot:
*Enable "Unknown Sources" in Security Settings.
*Use file explorer to install Flashfire again.
*Open Flashfire and add action again.
*Pick your Firmware Package again.
*Select "Modem Firmware" and "Firmware" partitions and deselect everything else.
*Change "Reboot" option to "Recovery" at the bottom of the screen (just above the "Flash" button.
*Tap "Flash" and let it do it's thing again.
*Should reboot to recovery (if not, do it yourself).
*Wipe data and reboot to system.
Note: I always keep a kingoroot apk on my sd card just in case, but it shouldn't be necessary as long as EverRoot is enabled and you don't flash your recovery.
