Restore whatsapp chat history?

Hey guys im having trouble restoring the chat history. The whatsapp website says change the name of the backup and file you want to be restored and install whatsapp again and its gonna and its gonna prompt if you want to restore your chat history? But it doesn't prompt when i install whatsapp? any idea how to take care of this?

1. Deinstall WA on ur new phone.
2. Copy ur whole WA folder from ur old to ur new Phone
3. Install WA on the new Phone. Then it will ask u to import the old data

After the chat history have been deleted on your phone , you need to check whether you have backup them or not ,
You have to restore lost data back as soon as possible , also , stop using your phone ,in this way , you would have a better chance of recover files
