Root Restore without Root : Titanium Backup HELP .!!

Okay Im on Cliq Xt and im about to temporarily unroot until 2.1 but when I flash back via rsd lite I know im going to lose EVERYTHING . I want to know if i could restore from my backups in Titanium Backup after unroot . Or is their another way . Please help .
 
Why would you unroot to get Android 2.1? As long as you have the stock recovery once the OTA update comes in you will be able to get it installed. Of course one of us developers will also release a version that can be done via the Custom Recovery.

If you install while rooted, it will just delete your root, which isn't a big deal because with Android 2.1 you can root using Z4root from the Market.
 
Well I am assuming all you did was root your phone. Did you ever install a custom recovery, the j_r0dd? If you never installed the custom recovery, then the update can come through no problems and it will install just fine.

After that you would not have root anymore. But as I mentioned before from within Android 2.1 you can use z4root from the Market and become root pretty much immediately.
 
hello people i have a moto cliq mb200 i when i switch it on i only brings the motorola screen and stops there i have tried hard reseting it but i has also failed to hard reset it stops at down volume button pressed for recovery mode what can i do to revive it i really want some help plus its still locked to T mobile could someone help and get me the unlocking code here is my IMIE 356914023015391 otherwise thanks alot to whoever will help me
