Retrieve phone number

Someone left me a voicemail but did not leave me a phone number. They assumed I got their phone number from the missed call. But my phone never rang ,it was in my locker at work and not getting a signal. how can I get their phone number to call them back?

I don't know if it will work with previous messages, but if you go into your voicemail setup, you can set an option to have the date, time, and phone number stamped at the beginning of each voicemail message.

That is a "pay for" service on Verizon.... check with your carrier to see if you "really want it".
If someone calls me, and don't leave a callback number, tough, they can just do without me calling them.

I use it, and I'm not getting charged. You aren't thinking of visual voicemail are you?

Probably was... I have no use for VM, as it is only good for other VZW customers, and none of my friends or family like it either.
I canceled it after 1 test call, could not tell any difference at all.. just fluff to puff up the VZW bank account.

If you're getting voice mail via an app, try calling in.

If neither has it, you'll have to set it up for that as mentioned earlier.
