Hi, I have just accidently deleted a thread of text messages by accident, is there anyway I can get them back, they were very important to me?

I have a Huawei Sonic Android Mobile Phone, Android 2.3, model number U8650-1.

Standard text messaging does not have a recycle bin; if you did not run some backup utility your deleted text thread is gone.

Not entirely true, sir. I came across this video showing you how to recover lost data trying to resolve my issue. Hopefully it works for someone, cause it didn't work for me.
