retriving email on s2

hi,just got new samsung galaxy s2,all set up,but can anyone tell me why it only retrieves some of my emails from my computer,
? only has 1 or 2 email notifications a day but when i go on computer i have lots of emails???????

Hello and welcome aboard. You can go into settings inside the email app and set your notification preference. Or you can stop by your device's area of support to see if you can get help in fixing this issue.

There's a lot of factors that could contribute to that situation. If it's not gmail then it would depend on how you're accessing the mail on your computer? If you're using a mail client such as Outlook Express, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc. then it's possible the mail client is downloading the mail to your desktop system and taking them off the server before the phone can get a chance to see them. That's one possible reason but without knowing a lot of details about your specific setup I can't say what the cause is.

Rush has given you some good places to investigate the phone piece of the puzzle but when it comes to checking mail in many spots there's a good deal more to look at.
You could also try checking in with the folks over in the Computers & IT - Android Forums area they might help sort this out as well.
