So why retro cam you ask? Well let’s be honest everyone is a bit of a camera nut. You see everyone from celebrities to the person driving in the car next to you posing with their cameras in front of them looking for that perfect new Myspace, Facebook or Twiitter default. As great as some of the camera apps out there with their filters, paint and text capabilities what about those of us who don’t have the patience to edit a simple picture in less than one tap on our screen to make them look edgy enough to be post worthy. Well here’s your answer…
For the low low price of FREE you too can have a a pretty hip old school photo with some pretty new age technology.
Now for the stats: 4 cameras, 4 sets of vintage vignetting, film scratch, black and white & cross processing effects for that off-the-hip analog look. Inspired by the like of Lomo, Holga, Polaroid, Diana, the toy cameras and Hipstamati
The latest version of 2.3 is of course available for all Android versions.
Who would of thought you’d someday be able to take all of the effects of your childhood (and maybe even your parents) cameras and squeeze it into a cell phone?!
Trust me, this app is well worth the 30 second download. In no time you, like me, will be able to catch great pictures of wildlife in your local Walmart with that great vintage flair as seen below!
