This is hands down my favorite time waster. It is based on a simple tower defense game were you place various towers into set patterns, leveling up and reselecting towers as you kill off the never ending horde of enemies.
The controls are intuitive and responsive. You can easily play it without reading any of the directions but I suggest you read them anyway. I played the game for about a month before I read the directions (the green towers don't work as well against the green monsters, etc...no wonder they kept getting through).
The paid version gives you about twenty (I did not check the exact number) maps to fight your way through. It is a really fun game but pricey at $4.99 (I think it was $2.99 when I bought it). I would suggest downloading the Lite version of the app first. The Lite version only gives you one level but if you have fun with it you will love the full app.
