Retro Telephone Handset

Hi

I bought a very cool retro handset that worked beautifully with my iphone, but now I have a Galaxy, wont work at all. I understand this is to do with the Galaxy having TV out from the same socket, and the pin configuration being different from the Iphones. I am quite handy with a soldering iron and could easily reconfigure the wiring inside the handset, but am having trouble finding out which section of the pin should wire to mic/speaker/ground etc on the Galaxy. Can anyone help?

Not sure if this would help, but they have a bluetooth version of the thing available right now, I know Bluetooth is a battery draining function on most of today's phones but that could solve your problems, sorry I can't post links to it but I've seen it on thinkgeek
