returning spront phone question

freshjr

Lurker
Hi i just recently switched over to Sprint because I the port in 125 credit was going to expire July 23 and I didn't want to lose it

This means that now I only have up to August 22 to return my EVO3d

I really want the Samsung galaxy s2/ Samsung within/ Samsung epic touch 4G whatever they are calling it.

Unfortunatly it was scheduled for a July release then an August but now a September.

September is too long for me. Does anyone know if I can return this phone and just use a 20 Craigslist phone until the Samsung galaxy s2 comes out then get that one for the new contract price?

Don't worry in a few days the "next big thing" will come out and you'll want that.

The release date for July, August or even September was never official or scheduled. But, yes if you can find a cheap phone and return the 3D they can reset the eligibility and you can wait for the GSII..

yes.. you can return and save the discount for the phone you want..
and use any phone you like... get it from where ever you like.

but... I highly recommend you do it at a sprint corporate store.... and make them note it in your account.. and show you the note!!!! better safe than sorry.

Would it really work though? Sounds like this is a new account. I wouldn't think they would permit you to return a phone on a new account and use a different one. Correct me where I'm wrong though

lets look at it in a business sense....

sprint wants contracts.... new contracts!!!
you can cancel within 30days.. and get a full refund.

or let you use that service past 30days.. and you are stuck! or pay EFT.

what is the difference to them when you get your phone? as long as you are paying for the service....

right?
