Revert back to old Marketplace

Is there any way to revert back to the old market and keep it that way? I know how to go into applications, then under market I uninstall the updates. But ten minutes later, the market auto-updates again. It is driving me crazy. I do not have my phone rooted, and would prefer not to if possible.

Well the android market is going to update eventually, so why revert it? I haven't got the new one so i really don't know what to tell you. I don't think you can revert it back. Try doing a factory reset. That might work.

I dont think so without root, as you need to remove market updater from system/apps. You could try temp root with visionary from market (dont know if your phone is compatiable, i have a desire), install titanium backup and freeze it.
