Rhapsody for $60 Promo? Is it worth the upgrade?

I'm currently on the $55 plan for unlimited 4g. Would I be able to tether on the $60 rhapsody plan? Also, how is rhapsody? Can I listen to full albums or is it more like Pandora (Is it pandora I am thinking of?) For those who might have upgraded from the $55 plan is it worth the upgrade, can you tether, and is the $5 extra bucks worth it or should I just stick to the free Pandora app, which I don't really use.

I don't have much music now, and I planned on eventually buying music on itunes and getting an app to play my iTunes music on/putting it on my phone manually. Thanks in advance

Can't comment on the plan or upgrade, but yep, you can listen to full albums in addition to radio stations. Create playlists, etc.
I love the app. My wife holds the account but we can share it among all our devices. Only issue is you can only stream it from one device at a time. Not usually a big deal, but something to consider. :)

Thanks for responding. Are they current albums? Also, when you say share with your other devices, you can use it on your computer as well and listen to music? So basically I won't need to buy cds because I can just listen to it directly off of rhapsody?

Are you using MetroPCS and Rhapsody and if so, how do you share it among your devices ?

the $55 promo has unlimited data while the $60 rhapsody promo is 5GB of data.

there is an alternate $60 promo which gives you unlimited "3G" data but metro's 3G is garbage in that its barely usable in most markets.

save yourself $5 a month, stay unlimited, and use pandora or youtube.

I have the $50 plan, but I subscribe to MOG as well, not on Metro though. I feel fine without unlimited 4G, well for now at least.

or Tunein.

Streams almost every am/fm radio station and show in the country. Do a little research for the best radio stations for your favorite genre of tunes. I am originally from Atlanta. 97.1 The River is the best classic rock station I've ever heard. I myself couldn't make a better playlist than they have 24/7. Tunein's a free app and I can have The River pick the perfect tunes for me 24/7.

It's even cooler if you listen to syndicated radio shows. You can save the show as a fav and then it shows every station playing the show and how much time left. You can listen to some or all of a show when YOU want to not when it's on the air near you. I may listen to one hour from one station, go do something and come back a few hours later and catch the 2nd and 3rd hrs of the show from yet another station(s).

Tunein is definitely one app I would not give up.

He said, my wife holds the account ...we share it among.. that is why I asked how to share it.I am just trying to learn from all you vets.
You can just sign in as usual but if you try to stream on more than 1 my guess is it will just deny you or just keep sing loading
