Help right earphone does not work...

anyone have issues when plugging in the earphones? sound quality horrible, quite, and static. only left earphone works. when i tested the earphones on my laptop they worked perfectly.
 
put in another pair, neither side works. when i had the stock ear buds in, at times, barely had any sound. had to rotate connection to hear anything, still it was bad and only left side worked.
 
I have the same issue. I tried one other set of head phones and also tried my aux in cable in my car. Both feel "loose" in the jack. If I lightly press both I will get clear stereo sound. The stock headphones snap in with a reassuring click and will not come out easily, but these other cables basically fall out. Really starting to tick me off.
 
You might have a defective 3.5mm jack on the phone. My guess would be to see if you can exchange for a new phone. I don't have this problem with my S3 but I had this problem with my Samsung Charge.
 
Called today, VZW rep said they had no documented similar issues and they would gladly send me a new phone.

Going on Vaca for a week, so I'm going to have it sent when I come back. Will report back when I get the new phone
