Dear All
On the go I listen to music or podcasts with a wired headset (with a button). I also keep my phone on silent vibrate (because I always hate phones ringing in public).
My problem is the following. Right now, if I get an incoming call, I need to feel it vibrate, dig the phone out of my picket, take out of case, swipe to pick up. Back on the iPhone this worked the following way. Music stopped. I heard the ring in the headset. I pressed headset button to pick up. I pressed headset button to hang up. Music kept on playing.
Is there any way to automatically invoke the iPhone-like behavior? I know that if I change from silent-vibrate to ring-vibrate before starting to listen to stuff, and back when I am done, that does the trick. But I forget. More importantly, I forget to put back on vibrate when I am done listening. There's gotta be a way to automate this, like invoke it by plugging in a headset. Recently I found an App that changed all sorts of settings when a headset was plugged in, and back when unplugged, but could not get it to do what I need.
This is my final specific grief with the Nexus One. I'd love it to go away. Any ideas for me?
