When I pull up music files it will only play from the beginning. Even when I move the clippers further down the song and hit play it will play from the beginning so i can't hear what I'm clipping. Any ideas?

Ok, I answered my own question.
Basically I just rebooted the phone. I had been listening to mp3's using the music app earlier in the day. I think the music player did not release and the play button in Ringdroid was linked to it until I rebooted.
Anyway, just a guess. Working great now.
